Admission Criteria

  • Complete a personal interview with the School Director or Enrollment Representative
  • Submit a completed application for enrollment
  • Be at least 18 years of age
    • Note: Applicants who are 17 years old must have their legal guardian co-sign the application
  • Provide proof of secondary education, such as:
    • High school diploma
    • GED certificate
    • Official college transcript
  • Must not be listed on the Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) as unemployable
  • Must not have been convicted of a criminal offense listed in Texas Health and Safety Code $250.006

Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant

Medical Assistants play a vital role in both clinical and administrative tasks. Their key responsibilities include:

Clinical Duties
